Hi Stingrays!

I hope you are all having a great summer. I wanted to let you know about an event at the Y some of you may be interested in participating in. The Kennebec Valley YMCA will be hosting our first ever "Splash and Dash" on Saturday August 11th at 8am. 

The event features a 425 yard swim, followed by a 5k run. It is open to anyone ages 10&older and you can compete as an individual or a team of 2 (one person swims, other person runs).

We are also looking for volunteers to be lap counters in the pool. The volunteer commitment is from 7am-10am on the day of the event and all volunteers receive a volunteer shirt. If you would like to volunteer, email Craig Cameron at [email protected].
