On Friday November 9th we will do our annual practice meet in place of practice. For those not familiar with how this works, kids still come at their normal time. 

We do a short warm up, and then we run heats of 50 yard events (25's for the 8 and unders). We have officials working as they would at a swim meet, we have the timing system running, and we have people hand timing the lanes, all the same things that would take place at a swim meet. 

This serves two purposes, first it gives our new swimmers a chance to test out what a swim meet is like, and second it gives our meet volunteers (officials, timing system and timers) a run through before our first meet.

We will need volunteers to run each session (3:30, 5 and 5:45) so if you would like to help with timing the help is greatly appreciated. In addition we will need officials and timing table personel to staff the sessions (also greatly appreciated).
