On Friday November the 8th we will conduct our annual practice meet.  We do this to give our new swimmers an opportunity to see what it's like to participate in a swim meet.  We will (hopefully) have officials, timers, and the timing system all in place to create a swim meet environment for them.  This is done during a normal practice schedule, so the 3:30 group swims their races during their time slot, the 5 pm groups do the same, and we finish with the 5:45 group racing during their time slot.  All practices start with a short warm up, and then we run meet events, so please try to have them to the pool on time.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help time during the sessions.  It's a great opportunity for our new parents to see what some of the meet jobs are like that fill with volunteers each time we host a swim meet.
