Hello Stingray Families,

Our final home meet of the season is on Saturday, February 1^st, against the Long Reach Swim Club (LRSC). Please be attentive to an upcoming email from Coach Mike in which you will have the opportunity to notify him if your swimmer will be unable to attend. LRSC anticipates bringing over 120 swimmers, prompting us to make a few adjustments to the meet logistics.

**Meet Details**

The meet will begin at 1:00 PM, with warm-up sessions starting at 11:45 am. During the meet, our swimmers will sit on the bleachers located behind the starting blocks. It is essential that swimmers limit their visits to fans and family members to avoid missing any event.

Coach Mike will provide an email containing meet entries. It is important to write the events in which swimmers will be participating on their arm or hand the morning of the meet. Please do not include heat and lane numbers, as these will be assigned once the meet is seeded.

We will be offering heat sheets for sale and will also provide concessions, with cash being the preferred method of payment. All proceeds from these sales will directly support the team and contribute towards our goal of new lane lines and starting blocks.

**Volunteers**

Volunteers are integral to the successful execution of any meet. During our last meet, we encountered challenges in securing a sufficient number of timers. The meet cannot begin without these vital roles filled.

I encourage you to visit the Stingray website to sign up as a volunteer. You will find the schedule tab, which features a green button labeled "Job Signup", allowing you to select the desired role. Should you experience difficulties navigating the website, please respond to this email, and I will assist you in registering on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our most pressing needs are for timers and donations for the concession stand. Given the increased number of swimmers, we anticipate a rise in spectators and consequently require more contributions for the concession.

We would also like to encourage our older swimmers to stay after the meet and help clean up.

**VIP Viewers’ Passes**

We are pleased to offer VIP Viewers’ Passes again this meet, providing exclusive reserved seating for four, along with refreshments, snacks, and a heat sheet. You are welcome to arrive at your convenience and enjoy premier seating. If you are interested in purchasing a pass, please reply to this email. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will be selling four packages at $50 each.
