Hi all, 

-Thank you all for your patience as we transition to new team software, and as I continue with my trainings and meet with Jamie to get things rolling for the year ahead. I appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we work through this transition.

-I am so excited and honored to begin working with our athletes and develop the program. From everything I've seen and heard, this is a special program with strong traditions, dedicated families, and committed athletes, and I'm grateful to be a part of it. I'm looking forward to getting to know the swimmers and families while working together to create a positive, challenging, and rewarding experience for everyone involved. I sincerely commend you all for helping our athletes succeed. 

-Attached is the information flyer for the upcoming season. In it you'll find practice group costs and times. 

-Underneath the practice groups are steps to create an account on our new team website platform: Sports Engine (Team Unify). You cannot create your account until the website goes live on September 4th.

-With this new site, you will be able to declare your intention to attend meets, what events your athlete would like to swim in, sign up for team volunteer jobs, and more. It is a much more streamlined way for team meet entries. 

-The Maine YMCA League is still finalizing our dual meet schedule for the upcoming year. It sounds like we will be participating in dual meets alongside the top 6 teams from last year's State Meet. Once we know that schedule, a full schedule will be able to be viewed from our Sports Engine home page. 

-D Saturday Practices:  Official Saturday practices for D group will begin on September 19th. As of right now Saturday practice times are 12:00pm-2:00pm, but after hearing feedback we are going to explore options to move this practice to 9:00am-11:00am. 

-As a reminder the facility is closed for annual maintenance September 2nd-7th. The pools are closed August 31st-7th.

-Stingrays 2026-2027 Program Registrations are available now in house only at the front desk. A KVY membership is required for the athlete to be maintained throughout the entirety of the season for insurance and legal purposes (Youth memberships are $21 a month with autopay).
