State Meet Results
Greetings Stingrays!
Yet another WOW! What a meet! . . . How are we supposed to fit all these AWESOME accomplishments into one email? The Maine YMCA State Meet results have been uploaded, and they are also attached.
Here are some of the highlights . . .
The KVY Stingrays took 5th place overall with 1791.5 points! That's nearly 300 more points than we scored last year! In addition, we moved up another 3 spots in the state rankings! Two years ago, we were ranked 11th in the state, we are currently ranked 5th! WOW! Many of you have asked what the higher rank does for us . . . The higher our ranking, the larger and more competitive our opponents will be, which, as you probably know, is hugely beneficial to our team.

Let’s not forget the many PR's that were broken, all of the effort that was expended, all the learning that occurred and all the FUN we (i.e., swimmers, coaches, families, etc.) had this weekend! We trust that the memories made this weekend will be long-lasting and that they will help propel us into next season!
