Hello Stingrays,

Hope everyone has dug out from the snow/ice/rain. A few updates for you this morning . . .

• Strong work at the KVY-MDI meet on Saturday!
  • Results are attached. Results and pictures are also posted on both our website and Facebook.
  • Congratulations to Micah Trice for breaking the longstanding Stingray 9-10 Boys 50 Back record!
  • Our fundraisers were very successful this weekend! VIP Seating raised over $500! The 50/50 raised nearly $100! And Concessions raised nearly $850!
  • The Stingray community kept the staff at Pat's hopping after the meet! It was good to see everyone chatting, getting to know each other and having fun!  
  • HUGE THANKS to all of our many volunteers, donors and supporters!

• Waldo County (WCY) Invitational Meet-This Saturday, January 28th
  • The event file is in for the Waldo County Invitational! The offerings include relays, 50s, 100s and 200s of each stroke, 100-200-400 IMs and the 1650.
  • At present, 10 swimmers have expressed interest in attending this "optional" meet.
  • There's room for more swimmers! A great opportunity to try a new event or distance, practice/improve your specialty or, if you are feeling froggy, swim the 400 IM or 1650 free!
  • REMINDER: You have to contact Coach Mike if you want to attend this meet ([email protected]).

• Cinema Sunday-CANCELED
  • Unfortunately, there was not enough interest in the movie to reserve the theater . . . If you already paid for this event, we will return your payment ASAP.

• Lost & Found
  • Who lost an adult size small KVY Stingray team T-shirt at Saturday's meet? We found this shirt (with a knot tied in it) in the bleachers after our meet. Please reply and we will get it to you.
