Hope your week has gone well.

The Stingray Social Team is putting together a few events for our swimmers and parents to connect outside of the pool. Here are the details:

• POST-MEET PAT'S PIZZA PARTY! . . . We have reserved seating at Pat's Pizza in Augusta after our January 21st meet to get together and hang out as a team. This is a very informal gathering. Simply go over to Pat's after your child is finished swimming and eat pizza and get to know other swim families. This is a great time for both swimmers and parents to socialize, celebrate and meet someone you don’t know. "Dutch treat" . . . Each family will be responsible for their own bill. In order to ensure that Pat's Pizza has enough staffing, please take a few minutes to RSVP on our website by Wednesday, January 18th.

• CINEMA SUNDAY! . . . We have reserved one of the theaters at Regal Cinema in Augusta for Sunday, February 5th to see "A Dog's Purpose" (PG) at 1 pm. The cost is $9.25 per person. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP the number of people (parents are welcome!) on our website no later than Saturday, January 21st. Cash or checks payable to KV YMCA can be submitted to Suzette Crosby, Kristy or Gary Trice, or Rachael Littler at the pool. We do need to sell all 60 tickets in order for this event to happen.
