Happy New Year!

Trust you are looking forward to all that 2017 holds for us . . .

Sending a short note today regarding our upcoming meet. We are traveling to Waldo County YMCA this Saturday, January 7th. Warmups are at 12:30 and the meet starts at 1 pm.

• Swimmers
  • Please be on deck no later than 12:15  to get marked up and prepared for​ warmups, which begin promptly at 12:30.
• Parents
  • It's important that swimmers are fed before the meet, and that they have snacks and drinks with them to maintain their energy during the meet as well.

We don't want any swimmer to miss a meet for lack of transportation . . . If your swimmer needs a ride to WCY this Saturday, please let us know ASAP and we will put the word out for you. It is not an imposition and it almost always works out.

If anyone CANNOT make the meet, please let Coach Mike ([email protected]) know ASAP, so he can adjust the lineup.

Finally, please be sure that swimmers care for their belongings at the Y . .. One of our Stingrays just reported a significant loss from a locker theft. The Y was notified and the police are involved. Please know that the KVY does rent lockers and they also allow members to bring their own locks to secure an open locker for the duration of one's workout. As you know, swimmers can also leave their bag/gear in the bleachers, where parents and staff are present. Just an unfortunate "Heads up."
