KVY Stingrays 2016-2017 Season
Greetings Stingrays!
Hope that you had a fantastic summer, that you are settling back into school routines and that you are enjoying this beautiful long weekend! Our 2016-2017 KVY Stingray season is just a few weeks away . . . After all the success we saw last season, we hope you are as excited as we are to see the KVY Stingrays improve and grow again this year!
Coach Mike has been hard at work preparing for the new season, the Y is clean as a whistle and there is lots of news to communicate. Let’s begin with the following:
- START DATE: The new season gets underway on Monday, September 19th.
- HELP: Attached is a flyer that will be going out to area schools in the coming weeks. However, we need your help! Please forward this flyer to friends, enemies
, colleagues, acquaintances, etc. . . . anyone you know with kids who may be interested swimming. As you probably know, personal invites are far more effective than a flyer in schools, so we can really use your help in growing our team. - WEBSITE REGISTRATION: If you haven’t already, please visit KVYSTINGRAYS.COM to register, or to update your existing registration, for the upcoming season. This ensures that we have up-to-date contact information and accurate lists when we email from the site and upload results after the swim meets. Our site will also provide you with information about practice times, a tentative schedule for the season and answers to other questions you may have via our FAQs.
Stay tuned for additional information in the next few weeks (e.g., Parent Meeting date, parent involvement opportunities, Code of Conduct forms, etc.). We will email information and post it on our website as well.
