Hi Stingrays!

Spring swim is underway and we have a great group of kids in the pool. Coach Mike is doing a wonderful job teaching our swimmers how to go from good to great by not only working hard but thinking hard as well.

Sending a brief note with some information and opportunities.

First, if you haven’t already signed up, the second session (i.e., summer swim) starts on June 20th. Please see our website for more details.

Second, on May 6th, you should have received a survey from the KVYMCA regarding the swim team. If you have not yet completed it, please take a few minutes to do so. These surveys are anonymous and they provide helpful feedback for senior leadership, so they can evaluate what is working well and what needs improvement.  

Finally, as you may know, the 4th Annual Capital Y Tri will be held on May 28th at the KVYMCA. We have heard that several of our swimmers are planning to participate.  There are still openings if you want to join them, and there are still plenty of openings for volunteers as well. You can cheer on our swimmers while serving your community! Please contact the KVY for more information on participating or volunteering.
