Hi Everyone,

I'm planning on taking some swimmers to this meet, so I wanted to see who was interested.  This is a Y sanctioned meet, so it will count towards the 3 meets necessary for Y State Meet.  The event offerings include 4 25's for the 8 and under group (fly, back, breast and free), and just about every other event in the Open Category (meaning that they are open to any age).  The only events not offered are the 500, 1000 and 1650 free.  50's, 100's and 200's of each stroke, and 100-200-400 IM are on the event list, and 400 relays (medley and free).  

I see a couple of purposes for this meet.  One is to get everyone eligible for State Meet.  Another is to address the long break between meets for some of our kids (6 weeks if they are not swimming the MSI Meet, High School or All Stars).  The break is neither a good thing or bad thing, but some kids may want to rehearse racing one more time to feel more confident, and so I'll offer up this opportunity.

 I will start formulating a State Meet line up, so if they want a last tune up meet, or want to swim another event that they won't be swimming at State Meet, or just like hanging out with the coaching staff, then let me know they want to swim and I'll put together our entries for those interested.
