Just a reminder that Y State Meet is three weeks away. I plan on entering all swimmers unless I am advised otherwise, so please let me know as soon as possible if your child can't swim. For over half our team this is the final meet of the season, so the goal is to make it a success for each child who swims in the meet. Encourage your child to make as many practices as possible going into this meet as that is a key ingredient to their success.

We had some testing of the Yingfa suits at the All Star Meet. Any analysis is based on anecdotal evidence only, but one boy dropped 3.6 seconds in the 50 backstroke, and the other dropped 1 second in each of his 50's. We have no data on the girls suits other then the cautionary tale to avoid the ones that have the ventilated seam down the middle of the backside of the suit. In any event, at least for the boys, we can deduct that for $30 you can create some magical swims by wearing these suits. Just make sure they fit tight.
